TANDEM SKYDIVE

 

A tandem jump is the most popular and safest introduction to the fascinating world of skydiving. It is a low pressure way to experience a high thrill skydive!

 

Students take a 10 minute training session at the drop zone with a licensed instructor who will explain the jump process and landing technique. You are harnessed to your instructor in the plane and exit the aircraft together. All you have to do then is relax and enjoy the ride!

 

You will free fall for about 40 seconds at a speed of 120 mph at which time you will have the opportunity (if you like) to pull the ripcord to deploy a parachute that is specifically designed for two people, and steer the parachute before the instructor takes over to ensure a safe, soft landing.

 

If you are younger than 18 years, you need permission from your parents.

 

A maximum weight limit of 95 kgs / 209 pounds applies. You will be weighed before the jump. To avoid embarrassment and forfeiting your deposit, please ensure that you stick to the safety precaution.

After experiencing your first exhilarating skydive you may wish to proceed with STUDENT TRAINING via the Static Line or AFF programs. Our training is conducted by fully qualified, PASA certified instructors and coaches. They are ready to provide you with the training you need to become a licensed skydiver. As a PASA (Parachute Association of South Africa) license holder, you can skydive at any drop zone.
