Skydive Joburg operates from Johannesburg Skydiving Club (JSC)
in Carletonville (www.jsc.co.za) and we are also affiliated with Rustenburg Skydiving Club in the North West (www.skydiverustenburg.co.za)

 

Facilities include lecture rooms, camping facilities and cabin accommodation (around R100 per person per night), hot and cold showers, swimming pool with child-proof fence, fully licensed bar, canteen, braai facilities, plenty of secure parking and a weekend you'll never forget!!

 

We operate every weekend and our experienced staff is here to make sure your skydive is as safe and enjoyable as possible.

DROP ZONE RULES & INFO

Recreational pharmaceuticals and other controlled substances are not permitted and we will not take students who have been drinking prior to their skydive.

 

A maximum weight limit of 95 kgs / 209 pounds applies. You will be weighed before the jump. To avoid embarrassment and forfeiting your deposit, please ensure that you stick to the safety precaution.

 

Wear comfortable clothes with running shoes. All other equipment will be supplied. Please DO NOT wear any boots which have hooks on them, you will not be allowed to jump in these. Lace up running shoes (tekkies) and no high heels. Bring something warm for winter like tracksuit pants or jeans, and don’t forget the gloves in winter!!! A long sleeve top WITHOUT a hood is required. You may NOT jump with rings on as these pose a safety risk of getting caught in the door. A jump suit will be provided for you at the drop zone to protect your clothes.

 

Accommodation is available on the drop zone. Camping and cabin accommodation at a cost of around R100 per person per night. The showers are HOT and always well maintained! Plenty of Bed & Breakfast facilities are available in town (Carletonville) and can be booked through us.

 

The canteen offers from full English breakfasts to snacks, hamburgers, hot dogs and a home cooked meal on Saturday evenings. For those wanting to go out, there are a few restaurants in Carltonville, you can ask at the drop zone.

 

Our pub is where we all sit and have a few drinks to relax after a good day of jumping. The bar is well stocked and offers a wide range of beers, spirits and shooters at VERY reasonable prices. They also often arrange promo evenings in conjunction with big events which we will advertise right here on our website.
