Skydive Joburg offers three ways for you to progress towards getting your skydive license .The first is the tandem, second the AFF (accelerated Free fall) and the third the static line. These courses will teach you how to skydive and to progress to your A license.
FREE FLY!!! / AFF CLASS
A student begins with 5-8 hours of ground school where you are
taught how to exit the aircraft and the position to hold during
freefall. You are also taught how to release the parachute and fly the
canopy yourself. Don't worry, we walk you through the necessary safety
precautions on how to determine if a canopy has opened correctly so you
are fully prepared for what will occur in the air.
Upon completion of the course you will exit the aircraft with two
licensed instructors who will help stabilize you in freefall and be
there until you release your canopy. You will be responsible for
landing the canopy yourself but an instructor will be on the ground to
help guide you down via radio control.
This program builds upon each skydive and is a great way to jump
into the sport, but if you are a little nervous then check out our
other program.
